Students in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade each received a FREE book from Great Books for Kids today! This program provides free books to students across Camden and Glynn counties. Great Books for Kids is an excellent source of support for student literacy. We are thankful for those whose generous donations make this possible.
Help support MLG at our Moe's Spirit Night on Tuesday, 10/22. Grab some dinner from Moe's between the hours of 4:00pm-9:00pm and be sure to mention our school. This is a fundraiser for our school and 30% of all proceeds will go back to Mamie Lou Gross Elementary School.

CCHS Connections Club invites you to the Military Family and Veteran Appreciation Football Game on Senior Night. The game will take place on November 1st at 7:30pm.

Picture Day is almost here! All students will have their picture taken at school on Wednesday, October 23. There will be an opportunity to purchase pictures for those who are interested.

To Celebrate National School Lunch Week, we will now have "Dress like your favorite food" on Thursday, 10/17.

Our students have been learning all about different countries in Spanish class to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
We are excited to see our MLG families tonight at our Book Fair Family Night.
This year's theme is "Taco 'bout a great book". Our students have been working hard on the decorations for the hallways and the Book Fair.

TaxSlayer Bowl - Mamie Lou Gross Elementary Fundraiser
The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl is proudly partnering with Mamie Lou Gross Elementary to celebrate the 80th Annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl!
For each $25 ticket sold (regularly $50), $15 is retained by Mamie Lou Gross Elementary!

The 80th Annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl will be played on Bill Gay Grounds at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, FL on Thursday January 2 2025 at 7:30 PM and will be televised nationally on ESPN.
The 80th Annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl will feature a team from the SEC (including Oklahoma & Texas) that will serve as the anchor team and will face off against a team from the ACC (including Cal, SMU, and Stanford).
