The Camden County Schools Board of Education is proud to announce a contract extension for Superintendent Dr. Tracolya Green, ensuring her continued leadership from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028. The Board’s decision reflects its ongoing confidence in Dr. Green’s leadership, steady guidance, and heartfelt commitment to the students, staff, and families of Camden County.
“Dr. Green leads with both vision and heart,” said School Board Chairperson Jonathon Blount. “She is a strong advocate for teachers and students, and a leader who truly listens to her community. The Board is proud to continue this partnership and build on the tremendous progress made under her leadership.”
Under Dr. Green’s guidance, Camden County Schools has continued to thrive academically and culturally over the past two school years. Highlights include:
Top Academic Performance: Ranked 15th out of 165 school systems statewide on SAT performance—placing Camden in the top 9% of Georgia districts.
Georgia Milestones Achievement: 8 out of 20 assessments ranked in the top 10% statewide; 12 in the top 15%, and 19 in the top 20%.
Record Graduation Rate: The Class of 2025 graduated at 96.18%, the highest in district history—nearly 10 points above the state average.
State and National Recognition: Camden County Schools ranked #12 of 176 districts in Georgia by Niche (#6 among county systems) and earned a 5-star rating from School Digger, ranking 14th of 206 districts statewide. Camden County High School continues to perform among the top 15% of Georgia high schools.
