Princess Oreo did it! Our very first chick has officially hatched, and our students are over the moon! 🎉
What makes this extra amazing? Dad Sunny was hatched in our class incubator last year! Our young learners have gotten to witness the complete chicken life cycle from egg to parent. 🌾🥚
Princess Oreo is still sitting on several more eggs, so the farm family isn't done growing yet. Keep your eyes peeled for more baby updates soon!

Our PreK students are learning to recognize and name common two-dimensional shapes, as well as identify their parts and attributes.
Learning shapes was hands-on, active, and full of fun! We’re shaping up to be some amazing learners! 💛✨

WES September Events!
What better way to start learning about life cycles in Agriculture than a broody hen laying on eggs! Today 2nd grade got to see first hand how a chicken lifecycle starts!
Ag was extra sweet for 5th Grade yesterday! They got to taste the first ripe watermelon 🍉!
Our 5th graders took learning outside! Students searched for real-life examples of weathering, erosion, and deposition, making connections between what we've learned in class and the world around them. They observed how wind, water, and everyday movement shape the Earth's surface over time, using their critical thinking and teamwork skills to identify these processes in action!

Our sweet new bunny has arrived, and now he needs a name! Our students are voting on their favorite, and the winning name will be announced Friday!
